Licensing Conditions

Please note that some content on VUMA! may be subject to different licensing conditions, which will then be embedded in the content and supersede the Creative Commons licensing conditions.

Attribution

The licensor (VUMA!) permits others to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work. In return, licensees, that means you, if you want to use the work, must give credit to VUMA! and the original author(s) of the material that you use. Licensees must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor. See example below: www.vuma.ac.za

Note: Please be careful to ensure that the reference does not in any way suggest that the author or licensor endorses you or your use of the work.

Share Alike

If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work under the same, similar or a compatible license. Look out for it because it means that you have to use the same terms to license a derivative work!

For example, a student makes significant changes to a document that is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence and republishes it under the same licence.

For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the licence terms of this work by stating the specific licence that is being used, with a link back to the legal code of the licence on Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License.

This page is not the actual licence. The licence terms are highlighted here in summary to provide a quick reference to the terms in the full licence agreement/s found at Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License.
